It's amazing to me the quirky little features babies can inherit from both sides of the family. Like the flaring of the nostrils, the crooked little grin and THE BIG TOE! When Brian and I found out we were pregnant we immediately starting saying, "I hope she has our blonde hair," "I wonder if she'll have my eyes," and "I hope she doesn't have Brian's feet," AND "Please don't let this baby have red hair!" Well, we created a wonderfully charming red headed (we think), nostril flaring, crooked grinning baby with daddy's big toes!
And she's absolutely perfect! (as every mom and dad swears by)
